Vserv.mobi, a leading mobile advertising network for app developers, publishers, advertisers and telecom providers, announced that it has strengthened its HTML5 rich media solution offering by introducing features of social sharing and A/B testing.
A recent IDC report suggested that there will be more than 1 billion HTML5 mobile browsers in the market in 2013. The Firefox OS which is expected to be available later will be based on HTML 5. It is this rapidly expanding market that Verv hopes to cater to with this new product.
The HTML 5 ads will be interactive and can involve intuitive engagement methods such as touch, click, drag, scratch and 360 degree view functionalities.
The company also announced that it will offer one free HTML5 creative service to marketers, which includes ad creative development, distribution, social capabilities, analytics and measurement. These will enable brands to leverage mobile rich media effectively.
Commenting on this development, Binay Tiwari, Director – Global Marketing & Product, Vserv.mobi said, “Our rich media ad platform allows advertisers to create engaging moments that consumers love, and we have now natively built in Social sharing options to enable ‘virality’ of this engagement. The addition of A/B testing functionality makes running parallel campaigns a breeze, thereby allowing advertisers to experiment more and take more informed decisions based on real-time user engagement metrics.”
Vserv’s AppWrapper, which enables premium advertising & innovative pricing models on any app, without coding, is now present on 20,000+ apps across platforms.
AudiencePro from Vserv combines Vserv.mobi’s global Mobile Ad Network with user data from telecom companies, to help advertisers target audience across all mobile platforms. The AudiencePro platform enables advertisers to target campaigns based on demographics, spending power, network usage, location, content relevance & device specific data, to reach the right audience. It had tied up with Airtel as its first telco partner for this.
Vserv also offers conversion tracking with which it measures “post-click” actions such as app downloads, lead forms, video views, engagements and more.
Over a year back Vserv had raised $3 million in Series A round of funding from IDG Ventures India.
Last month, Vserv had released their Mobizen Insights infographic which showed the rise of India as an App Superpower and that the country was the top ranking one across all app stores. You can check out that infographic on the NextBigWhat Forum.
