18-yr-old Sriya Lenka from Odisha becomes India’s first K-pop star

The craze for K-pop has almost taken over the country and the huge fan base for BTS proves so

Sriya Lenka from Odisha was introduced as a member of the K-pop girl group Blackswan. The band debuted in 2020. However, Sriya joined the group on May 26, 2022.

Blackswan was started back in 2011 by DR Music

Currently, it is a four-member group including the leader and Korean singer Go Young Heun (Youngheun)

And Belgium-based Senegalese singer Fatou Samba (Fatou), Korean singer-dancer Kim Da Hye (Judy) and Brazilian-Japanese singer Larissa Ayumi Cartes Sakata (Leia).

Sriya and Gabi were finally selected as members of Blackswan after participating in the global audition program for the last 6 months.
