Apple staff discovered zero-day flaw in Chrome but didn't inform

An Apple employee reportedly found a zero-day exploit in Google Chrome during a hacking competition.

Though Google has fixed the exploit, it wasn't reported by Apple's security researcher, leading to potential disagreement between the teams.

The Apple employee claimed the exploit was reported to Google on June 5, delay was due to reporting sign-off process.
