Avatar: The Way of Water review: A visually stunning sci-fi

Avatar: The Way of Water, which debuted in theatres on December 16 and comes 13 years after the original Avatar wowed viewers with its revolutionary 3D technology.

Charlotte O’Sullivan from Evening Standard gave four out of five stars and wrote that she felt like she had been through “something special".

Eric Francisco from Inverse wrote that the movie had outdone “its predecessor visually".

Peter Bradshaw from The Guardian wrote that the visual effects are “technically impressive" but “soulless and inert", giving the movie two out of five stars.
