Avatar: The Way of Water sells over 15,000 tickets in advance bookings

Prior to its December 16 release, the premium formats for the movie on 45 screens have already been sold through advance booking.

It is anticipated that booking for the standard 2D and 3D shows will begin on Friday.

In six languages—English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam—the Avatar sequel will be released in India on December 16.

As per Hollywood Reporter, Avatar: The Way of Water should open to at least $150 million-$170 million in North America.
