BCCI chief selector Chetan Sharma resigns from his position

The BCCI's chief selector, Chetan Sharma, has resigned from his position.

The BCCI secretary, Jay Shah, received and accepted his resignation.

In a series of accusations, Sharma claimed that some Indian cricket players had used medications to speed up their return to the international scene.

Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly allegedly had a "ego clash," according to Sharma.

In addition, Sharma said that he disagreed with management over the return of bowler Jasprit Bumrah.
