BMW launches XM hybrid SUV in India with a price tag of Rs 2.60 crore
Since the mid-engined M1 supercar of the late 1970s, the XM is the second custom BMW M product.
The 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine produces 489 horsepower, making the XM the first M model to have a plug-in hybrid powertrain.
This engine is coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission by BMW.
The XM has a quick 0-100kph acceleration time of 4.3 seconds and an 80-kilometer pure EV range.
A more powerful version of the XM, the Label Red, will arrive in September 2023 for international markets.
