Brentford vs Man City

Man City defeated Brentford 1-0 at the Newcastle

Phil Foden marked his return to the Manchester City side by scoring the only goal as Pep Guardiola's men opened up an eight-point lead at the top of the Premier League with a 1-0 win at Brentford.

Manchester City have won each of their last 10 Premier League games - the fourth time they've had a run of 10+ consecutive league wins under Pep Guardiola

No manager other than Pep Guardiola in the Premier League history has had more than two separate runs of 10+ wins.

Man City have won 20 of their last 23 away Premier League outings (D1 L2), including each of their last six in a row

The result means Brentford remain in 14th position on 20 points from their 18 games, while City head to Arsenal
