Chandrayaan-3 mission:
Pragyan Rover clicks image of Vikram Lander
Chandrayaan-3's rover, Pragyan, has taken its first image using the Navigation camera, capturing the lander Vikram on the moon's surface.
The image marks the rover's inaugural photo since landing and contrasts with previous images captured by Vikram.
The rover's Navigation Cameras (NavCams) were developed by the Laboratory for Electro-Optics Systems (LEOS) in Bengaluru.
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) referred to the image as the "image of the mission" and revealed it on Twitter.
The rover's latest findings involve the discovery of sulphur and various other elements at the moon's south pole.
