BCCI's Covid-19 Guidelines for IPL 2021

BCCI allows a bubble-to-bubble transfer of players who are currently part of the India vs England series

Players coming directly from the India-England bubble can join their respective franchises immediately without any medical tests

Bubble-to-Bubble transfer rules will apply for players taking part in the ongoing South Africa-Pakistan series.

BCCI will appoint up to four  Bubble integrity managers for each team

No Covid-19 vaccination drive for those involved in IPL 2021

BCCI assured that Cricket balls have been repeatedly sanitized, especially after it is touched by a member of the crowd

BCCI also claimed that the chances of transmission of the Coronavirus from the ball are extremely low

Players arriving from the UK, Middle East, South Africa, Brazil and Europe will be required to undergo 7-day quarantine at their own cost.

Those entering Chennai will be required to serve an e-pass issued by the Tamil Nadu government.

Total of 12 bubbles will be created : 8 for the franchises, 2 for the management and 2 for commentators & broadcast crew

The BCCI officials will not be allowed to interact with the players or franchise officials who are in the bubble
