Mahindra’s long anticipated Mahindra XUV300 electric will finally be launched this financial year.

Mahindra‘s Automotive CEO, Veejay Nakra, confirmed that the electric version of its compact SUV will be rolled out in Q3 or Q4 of this fiscal year.

eXUV300 will be based on the company’s Mahindra Electric Scalable and Modular Architecture (MESMA) that’s built ground up locally at the company’s facility.

Since it’s scalable, it can be used for different body types ranging across different segments.

The company will introduce the XUV300 Electric in two options offering different range.

There could be an entry level 40KWh battery pack offering around 200-250Km range in the real world conditions

The high-end model may get a bigger battery pack to rival the upcoming extended range Nexon, MG ZS EV and other players in the high-range EV segment.
