Elon Musk May Not Be Able to Acquire Twitter, Has a 'Plan B'

Days after acquiring a 9.2 stake in Twitter, Elon now wants 100% of the company.

But in the Ted Talk conference in Vancouver, Elon Musk said "I'm not sure that I will actually be able to acquire it."

In the official announcement, the billionaire CEO offered to buy Twitter with a $43 billion all-cash offer.

He shared on Twitter the original filing, saying "I would need to reconsider my position as a shareholder."

If Elon becomes successful in his plan to acquire Twitter, he will take the microblogging company private.

Musk acknowledged he has a "plan B" if his offer fails, but refused to elaborate when pressed.
