Morocco defeat Spain 3-0 (0-0) in penalties
After a scoreless draw, Morocco shocked Spain by defeating them in a penalty shootout to advance to the World Cup quarterfinals.
Despite having the majority of the ball in the first half, Spain was unable to get past Morocco's staunch defense.

The best chance of the half came when Morocco defender Nayef Aguerd headed over from close range.
The 2010 World Cup winners had more than 75% of the possession and made nearly 800 passes.
But this time they were unable to find a breakthrough inside 90 minutes, sending the game to extra time.
