Football legend Pele passes away at 82

Pele was regarded as the greatest football player of all time and the undisputed king of the beautiful game.

With Brazil, he won the World Cup three times - 1958, 1962, and 1970.

He is the epitome of his nation's heyday of football thanks to his opulent variety of abilities.

Pele had already scored more than 1,000 goals when he ultimately decided to retire in 1977.

He scored 77 for Brazil, a mark only equalled at the recent World Cup by Neymar.
