Google Doodle honours India's beloved street food pani puri

Google is celebrating India's popular street food 'pani puri' with a special interactive game Doodle.

The game Doodle celebrates the day in 2015 when a restaurant in Indore made it to the Golden Book of World Records for serving 51 unique pani puri flavours to customers.

Pani Puri, according to legend, was first invented by Draupadi in the time of the Mahabharata.

It has many regional variations across India such as gol gappa in Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, and New Delhi, and puchkas or fuchkas in West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand.
