AB de Villiers made his debut in 2004 in the international circuit at the age of 20

Coming at No 3, De Villiers set the stage on fire and hit a 16-ball quickfire fifty which included 3 fours and five massive sixes.

1. 149 vs West Indies in Johannesburg, 2015 (ODIs)

De Villiers then took another 15 balls to bring up his century, which is still the fastest by any batsman in ODI format.

He finished off the innings after scoring 149 runs (9 x 4s, 16 x 6s) in 44 balls with an unbelievable strike rate of 338.64.

SA were asked to chase down 430 by the hosts and they were 77/4 before the resumption of the final day of the match.

2. 33 (off 220 balls) vs Australia in Adelaide, 2012 (Tests)

Du Plessis remained unbeaten after scoring 110 runs from 376 balls while de Villiers calmly stayed at the other end while keeping the match intensity in mind, scoring 33 runs from 220 balls.

The innings from de Villiers still remains one of the slowest in Tests in the last twenty years.

Mr 360 walked down into the middle to pair with Virat Kohli. The duo then batted together and posted an outrageous 229-run stand.

3. 129* vs Gujarat Lions in Bangalore, IPL 2016 (T20s)

De Villiers remained not-out after a monstrous 52-ball 129 with a dazzling strike rate of 248.08.
