Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended his greetings to the nation on the festival of Holi.

The Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday announced a two-day holiday for Holi.
Delhi University has also announced that teaching activities will remain suspended on March 17 in view of Holi.
The Islamic Centre of India had urged mosques to change the timings of Friday prayers given that Holi would be celebrated the same day.
This year the festival of Holi was observed on March 18, while Chhoti Holi was celebrated on March 17.
