Honor launches foldable phone Magic V2 in China

Honor Device Co. has launched its latest foldable phone, the Magic V2, with a regular glass display on the exterior and a 7.92-inch foldable OLED screen on the inside.

Honor's CEO George Zhao sees Apple’s top-end phones as their main competitor and revealed plans to expand sales of Magic V2 in overseas markets including Europe.

IDC research suggests the market for foldable phones is set to grow, with over 21 million units expected to ship this year and doubling by 2027.
