ICC Women's World Cup: Australia beat Pakistan by 7 Wickets

Australia dominated the game as they chased down the target in only 34.4 overs and with seven wickets remaining against Pakistan.

All batters contributed handsomely after Alyssa Healy scored a fantastic half-century to lay down a solid platform in the run-chase.

Captain Bismah Maroof scored a fighting 78 not out while Aliya Riaz also notched a half-century to take Pakistan to a respectable 190 for six in 50 overs against Australia.

It was the 6th match of the ongoing ICC Women's World Cup held at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui on Tuesday.

Australia have a strong batting line-up, with Lanning at first drop and Perry to follow thereafter.

Australia had kept Pakistan batters on a tight leash after winning the toss and electing to bowl .

Pakistan lost four early wickets but Bismah Maroof and Aliya Riaz steadied the innings with a slow but a solid partnership.
