ICC Women's World Cup: Australia beats West Indies by 7 Wickets

Australia swept to victory against West Indies by seven wickets at Wellington’s Basin Reserve.

West Indies, on the other hand, will look to get back to winning ways after India halted their progress in the previous match.

With no defeat so far in the competition, Australia currently sits at the top of the table, with South Africa taking the 2nd position at the table.

West Indies captain Stafanie Taylor was displeased with her side’s batting, just as she was on the weekend when they lost to India.

Ellyse Perry is the player of the match with 3-22. She said she’s been working on her consistency and variations, especially with the new ball.

The Windies will look to cause another upset, having already defeated New Zealand and England.
