ICC Women’s World Cup: South Africa vs West Indies; Match Cancelled
Despite the match getting cancelled due to rain, South Africa made it to the semi-final berth in the ongoing ICC Women's Cricket World Cup.
The match between South Africa vs West Indies was abandoned with South Africa posting 61 for four in 10.5 overs at Basin Reserve in Wellington, South Africa.
South Africa follow Australia into the semis with nine points from six matches.
West Indies are third in the standings with seven points from as many games.
With their group matches now all done, West Indies will have to sit and wait in the hope that both India and England don't overtake them.
It will be disappointing if West Indies do bow out without reaching the final four after a string of exciting performances during the 50-over showcase.
