Indian Indices Down: Sensex, Nifty Hit Day's Low

Sensex tanked 1000 points to hit day's low. Nifty is also 1.5% down.

Commodities like aluminium have rallied and crude oil once again hits a fresh high of 107 USD per barrel, highest since July 2014.

Few stocks are still trading in green. DB realty stock hit the upper circuit on a favourable ruling by the Supreme Court.

Today’s fall is mostly caused by the worse performance of the bank and auto sectors. Both are down by 1%.

There is some good news in the market, too. Coal India registers growth of nearly 4 per cent year over year.

Tata Motors has also reported a 27 per cent growth in sales at 73,875 units against 58,366 units (YoY).
