International Day of the Girl Child: Aiming towards a better future

Every year on October 11, the world celebrates International Day of the Girl Child.

The United Nations designated this day to raise awareness about the importance of equal opportunity for girls.

As per the official website, “In 2022, we commemorate the 10th anniversary of the International Day of the Girl (IDG)."
