IPL 2022: Jasprit Bumrah, Nitish Rana fined for breaching code of conduct

After KKR secured a thumping victory over Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2022 match on Wednesday, Jasprit Bumrah and Nitish Rana were penalised by the authorities

Bumrah and Rana were found guilty of violating the IPL's Code of Conduct during match. Though the specific offences have yet to be revealed

Both have been penalised for a Level 1 Code of Conduct violation in IPL Season 15 Match 14 according to the official IPL Twitter account.

The official statement further added that KKR batter Rana has been handed a fine of 10% on his match fee because of the offense.

Jasprit Bumrah ( MI) has been reprimanded for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during his team’s match against KKR at Pune.

Mr Bumrah admitted to offence and accepted the sanction. For Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct, the Match Referee’s decision is final and binding.
