Aggressive Batsmen

Born in Patna on 18 July 1998, has played for Jharkhand in domestic cricket. He is a left-handed opening batsman and a wicket-keeper.

Small town guy

He was the highest run-scorer for the Mumbai Indians in the 2020 IPL, with 516 runs from 14 matches and won the most sixes award of the season.

King of Sixes

In 2016, Ishan was bought by Gujarat Lions in the 2016 IPL auction. In 2018, he was bought by the Mumbai Indians in the 2018 IPL auction

Previous teams

He made his T20I debut for  India on 14 March 2021, against England, scoring 56 off 32. He  also got Man of the match.

International career

He made his ODI debut on 18 July 2021, for India against Sri Lanka, scoring 59 off 42 balls. Kishan was named in India's squad for the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

International career

As per Ishan's coach, his idols  are former Indian team captain M.S. Dhoni and former Australian wicket-keeper-batsman Adam Gilchrist.
