ISRO launches
Aditya-L1
solar mission after Chandrayaan-3 success
Aditya-L1 is India's first solar probe, designed to investigate solar winds and their impact on Earth, including the formation of auroras.
The Aditya-L1 spacecraft will travel approximately 1.5 million km over four months to reach a stable point in space, conserving fuel.
It will be positioned at Lagrangian Point 1, where Earth and the Sun's gravitational forces balance.
The mission aims to gather data to explain celestial phenomena and support climate change research.
ISRO's Aditya-L1 lifted off from Andhra Pradesh, aiming to reach its destination in 125 days.
