Anushka Sharma shared teaser of Chakda Xpress, a biopic on the former captain of India national women's cricket team Jhulan Goswami

“It is a really special film because it is essentially a story of tremendous sacrifice,” she wrote while sharing the teaser on Instagram

Chakda Xpress is inspired by the life and times of Jhulan Goswami and it will be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket

The films shows the struggle of Jhulan to become an international cricketer when at that time it was very tough for women to even think of playing the sport.

Jhulan had a fighting and extremely uncertain cricketing career and she stayed motivated to make her country proud. She strived to change the stereotype

Jhulan is the world’s highest wicket-taker across formats in women’s cricket . She completed 20 years in international cricket on January 6

Anushka Sharma returns to acting after three years. She  was last seen in 2018 movie Zero. Since then, she's produced Paatal Lok and Bulbbul.

Anushka is concentrating on production too and her upcoming production Qala will mark the Bollywood debut of Irrfan Khan's son Babil
