Lil Bo Weep, Australian Singer and YouTube Star, Passed Away at the Age of 22

In a heartbreaking post on Facebook, her father Matthew Schofield confirmed the news on Sunday (March 6), writing that she died due to “depression, trauma, PTSD, and drug addiction”.

Lil Bo Weep, originally named Winona Lisa Green, began sharing music on SoundCloud in 2015. She used to release her music under the pseudonym ‘monikers’.

She gained a massive following online, becoming famous for tracks like ‘not ok but its ok’, ‘Sorry’ and ‘CODEPENDENCY’.

According to reports by E! News, her last post was a minute-and-a-half-long song titled PTSD.

On Wednesday, mourning the anniversary of her unborn child, she had posted a heartbreaking video on Instagram.

Though her father indicated his daughter was struggling with depression and trauma, the exact cause of her death has not been confirmed yet.
