Manchester United has agreed on a deal worth up to €55m (£47.2m) to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.
The deal includes an initial fee of €51m (£43.8m), plus €4m (£3.4m) in potential add-ons based on individual and club performance.
Onana is expected to reunite with his former Ajax manager, Erik ten Hag, at United and replace David De Gea, who announced his exit.
United are also considering Japan 'keeper Zion Suzuki from Urawa Red Diamonds after De Gea's contract talks fell through.
Onana is known for playing out from the back, aiding build-up play and has previously helped Inter reach the Champions League final.
United are also in talks over possible transfers for Scott McTominay, Fred, Dean Henderson, Anthony Elanga, and Rasmus Hojlund from various clubs.
