Maruti Suzuki Dzire CNG Launched: Check Out the Specs, Prices and Availability

Maruti Suzuki Dzire CNG has been launched in the Indian market with a price range between Rs 8.14 lakh and Rs 8.82 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Dzire CNG is powered by a 1.2-litre K12M DualJet engine that powers the Dzire petrol. But the engine in CNG produces 77hp and 98.5Nm of peak torque.

That’s 13hp and 14.5Nm less than the Dzire petrol which produces 90hp and 113Nm. The Dzire CNG comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The car may face competition from Tata Tigor and Hyundai Aura as the 77hp Dzire CNG is slightly more powerful than the 73hp Tigor CNG and 69hp Aura CNG.

No cosmetic changes are made to the Dzire CNG, and the equipment list also remains identical to the petrol equivalent variants.

Maruti had previously announced CNG would be offered on all Arena models, and the Vitara Brezza too will get the option of CNG with its upcoming next-gen SUV.
