Nokia rebrands its iconic logo for first time in 60 years
Nokia Oyj has updated its logo to avoid being accidentally associated with smartphones.
The brand makeover, which was unveiled on Sunday, is coupled with a new set of strategic pillars meant to facilitate faster development.
“In most people’s minds, we are still a successful mobile phone brand, but this is not what Nokia is about,"
CEO Pekka Lundmark said.
“We want to launch a new brand that is focusing very much on the networks and industrial digitalization,'"
Nokia also aims to accelerate the growth of its business providing companies with private 5G networks.
