Oppenheimer, directed by Christopher Nolan, is a biographical thriller about the life of American physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, known as the father of the atomic bomb.
The film is based on the Pulitzer-winning book 'American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer'.
It explores Oppenheimer's life from two perspectives: events he narrated and those reported in media, with Nolan making a statement about humanity's destructive capabilities.
Despite being over three hours long, its pace doesn't let the audience get bored. However, it under-utilises its female stars Emily Blunt and Florence Pugh.
