Petrol, Diesel Prices Increased for the Sixth Time in a Week

Petrol and diesel are now being sold at ₹99.11 per litre and ₹90.42 per litre today in Delhi after the hike of 30 paise and 35 paise respectively.

This is the sixth hike in a week, an increase of ₹4.00 and ₹4.10 per litre respectively since last week’s Tuesday.

People in Mumbai will now have to pay ₹114.19 for petrol and ₹98.50 for diesel with an increased hike of 31 paise and 37 paise respectively.

The prices in Chennai stand at  ₹105.18 for petrol and ₹95.33 for diesel, while in Kolkata, the price of petrol is ₹108.85 and diesel is ₹93.92.

In Bengaluru, petrol now costs ₹104.78 and diesel costs ₹89.02 per litre.

Prices are expected to be raised further considering the sharp jump in crude oil prices in the international markets due to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine Crisis.
