‘Pieces of Her’ begins on a gruesome note as Laura (Toni Collette) is seen celebrating her daughter Andy’s (Bella Heathcote) 30th birthday.
That is when a shooter opens fire at those in the restaurant and things start to take a different turn.
This is a story whose characters will lie about who they are, what they know and what they are put to - Andy is the only one who doesn't.
Like many other thrillers, its protagonist, that is Andy, becomes both hunted and hunter.
Among the other characters, some of whom will turn out to be other than described are Gil Birmingham as Charlie, Omari Hardwick as Gordon, Jacob Scipio as Jack.
