Civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and other officials attended a ceremony marking the construction of a new terminal.
The terminal, costing ₹707.73 crore, features 100% natural lighting for 12 hours a day and can handle 1,200 passengers in peak hours annually.
The three-storey terminal spans 40,837 sq metres, equipped with 28 check-in counters, three passenger boarding bridges and four conveyor belts.
