Shehbaz Sharif is the younger brother of former Pakistani prime minister Nawaz Sharif and is the chief of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
He will succeed Imran Khan as the country's next Prime Minister who has been ousted from the government through a no-confidence motion.
Shehbaz is 70 years old and a 3-term former chief minister of Punjab, Pakistan's second largest province after Balochistan.
It's highly likely that he will be elected as the next PM since the numbers are with the united opposition.
Shehbaz, the brother of Nawaz Sharif will be Pakistan's twenty-third premier and the second from his family.
Shockingly, no Pakistani Prime Minister has completed a full five-year term yet.
