R Sridhar's take on Deepak Hooda: a 'coach killer'

The year 2022 has witnessed a change in fate in Deepak Hooda's cricketing journey.

Hooda, who made his international debut in February this year, has now become a regular member in the team.

Former India fielding coach R Sridhar also lauds Hooda's growth and considers him a permanent member in India's white-ball setup moving forward.

Sridhar recalled a hilarious incident from Hooda's U-19 days, calling the player a "coach killer".

The former fielding coach also mentioned that many a times coaches used to deny Hooda the power-hitting sessions.

Because he has a tendency to hit the cricket ball out of the stadium.
