Rally driver Ken Block dies in snowmobile accident at 55

On Monday, professional rally driver Ken Block was killed in a snowmobile accident not far from his Utah home. He was 55.

Block's passing was confirmed by Hoonigan Industries in a statement shared on its social media pages.

The statement read, "It's with deepest regrets that we can confirm that Ken Block passed away in a snowmobile accident today."

"Ken was a visionary, a pioneer and an icon. And most importantly, a father and husband."

Ken Block co-founded the skateboard brand DC Shoes in 1984.
