The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in 2X increase in heart attack cases among 30/40 year olds.
Remo D’Souza suffered a heart attack on the 11th of December in the afternoon and is currently in the ICU at a hospital in Mumbai.
The WHO and hosipitals are also reporting a rise in the number of heart related cases there're seeing.
Cardiologist Dr Aditya Kapoor, says a lot of these heart-related problems among 30/40 year old are due to rapid urbanization and industrialization.

The increase due to Covid is because people are avoiding going to hospitals, even though they are facing heart trouble symptoms
