Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan’s aviation thriller, Runway 34 has taken a poor start at the box office.

According to early estimates the action thriller has collected in the range of Rs. 3.00 to 3.50 crore on its opening day

The day one biz of Runway 34 is in the same range as films like Satyameva Jayate 2, Chandigarh Kare Aashqiui and slightly lower than last week’s release, Jersey.

The performance of the film has shocked the industry, which was expecting the film to open around Rs. 5 crores.

Big jumps of 100% each need to come on Saturday and Sunday for the film to have some sort of chance of reaching a respectable total.
