Sensex and Nifty Finally Trading Higher After Weeks of Correction

Both indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty opened higher in the morning and are currently up 1% each.

The Nifty Bank index has gained 639.25 points or 1.83% as of 1:37 pm. The gain is supported by IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank, and RBL Bank.

But in the commodity market, the safe haven asset gold has fallen sharply.

BSE metal index is also up 2%, supported by the gains of  Vedanta, Jindal Steel, and JSW Steel.

The Indian stock market has witnessed some of the worst losses during the last few weeks, partly because of  the ongoing crisis in Europe.

Although the market is up, the global market seems uncertain if it would be able to continue the bullish market.
