Suresh Raina retires from IPL, domestic cricket for T20 leagues

Suresh Raina has not been picked by the franchise at the Indian Premier League mega auction, earlier this year.

The former India batter Suresh Raina will play in the Road Safety World Series, starting from September 10.

Raina had announced his retirement from international cricket less than one hour after MS Dhoni announced his on August 15, 2020.

Raina, who has been the backbone of the Chennai Super Kings for 12 years, is the fourth-highest run-scorer in IPL history with 5,528 runs from 205 games.
