The Batman Movie Review: Robert Pattinson Flourishes

Director Matt Reeves has created a new Batman iteration in which Robert Pattinson reinvents billionaire Bruce Wayne as an elegantly wasted rock star stylite.

We might have thought that Batman couldn't get any darker, but we are proven wrong.

The Batman feels like a serial killer chiller. It promises a mystery plot relating to the theme of municipal corruption which is so important to the Batman franchise.

The Batman is certainly long, and it's even slow at times, but not boring; Reeves sustains the tense mood throughout, and the procedural elements are mostly absorbing.

The Batman has some people in his corner. Kravitz is stylish and assured as cat burglar Selina Kyle who has reasons of her own for detesting creepy Falcone.

The Batman is certainly long, and it's even slow at times, but not boring. It is definitely worth watching the film.
