Former Pakistan bowlers, Umar Gul and Saeed Ajmal, have been selected as bowling coaches for Pakistan's national cricket squad.
This coaching selection marks the first time Saeed Ajmal has had a role within national side.
Their initial assignments will involve the Test series against Australia from 14 December to 7 January, and the T20I series against New Zealand from 12 to 21 January.
Muhammad Hafeez has been named as the Director and head coach, while Wahab Riaz is appointed as the new chief selector.
The inclusion of these local coaches signifies an end to the employ of foreign coaches like Mickey Arthur and Grant Bradburn.
Both Umar and Saeed have had previous coaching experience, including with the Quetta Gladiators, Afghanistan squad and Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League.
