Vampire Diaries fame Annie Wersching passes away at 45

At the age of 45, actor Annie Wersching passed away. She was best known for her role as FBI agent Renee Walker.

Wersching lost his fight with cancer early on Sunday in Los Angeles.

Wersching, who was born and reared in St. Louis, Missouri, had numerous television appearances during the course of her two-decade career.

She performed Tess' voice and motion capture for the well-known video game "The Last of Us."

She's survived by her husband, actor Stephen Full, and three sons.
