Erik van Rooyen eagles 18 to win WWT Championship

Erik van Rooyen won the World Wide Technology Championship with a 16-foot eagle putt on the par-5 closing hole.

Van Rooyen finished at 27-under 261, two strokes ahead of Matt Kuchar and Camilo Villegas.

Kuchar lost a six-stroke lead after a late game meltdown on the previous day.

Despite a bogey start, van Rooyen made a back-nine charge with several birdies and ended with the winning eagle.

Kuchar and Villegas both shot 66, finishing tied for the lead on 18.

Justin Suh ended fourth at 24 under after a 65, while Andrew Putnam (62) and Ryan Palmer (64) were 22 under.
