Warner Bros. plans to reschedule 'Dune 2' release to 2024

Warner Bros. Film Group may delay 'Dune' sequel's current Nov. 3 release to 2024 due to Hollywood labor strikes.

Warner Bros. is also assessing new release dates for 'The Color Purple' and 'Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom'.

Current union restrictions prohibiting actors from promoting work made and released by struck companies will affect movies like 'Dune 2' unless resolved by mid-fall.
