Sania Mirza appointed as mentor for the RCB women's team
Sania Mirza, India's tennis legend, has been named the Women's Premier League team coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore.
On Wednesday, the RCB's official Twitter account confirmed the news.
"My next job is to try and help young women and young girls believe that sports can be one of the first career choices for them,”
Mirza said she will work with the players to develop their mental toughness.
RCB created history on February 13 by making the costliest purchase in the WPL auction when they secured Smriti Mandhana for Rs 3.4 crore.
