This week was special. Helpdesk software maker Zendesk announced the arrival of Indian startups at the global stage. The company which filed for a $150 mn IPO earlier this week, counts Indian companies such as Freshdesk, Kayako, Tenmiles and SupportBee as competition!
We also wrote about the Flipkart Myntra deal and Zomato’s new social avatar. The team which built Little Eye Labs, the first Indian company to be acquired by Facebook, flew to the Facebook HQ this week. They’d dropped in tou our office to share lessons with a few entrepreneurs. Here’s a quick recap of all the great stuff we published this week.

India Post is piloting an initiative that will see postmasters help farmers sell produce online without spending any money on transport. Postmasters in two locations in two locations in AP and Telengana will use smartphones to take pictures of the produce and transfer the data to an online trading platform. If successful this scheme will be rolled out across India.
