Just out of curiosity, I looked around for brand searches for WeWork vs. the rest of coworking spaces in India and here is what I found:
Clearly, more customers are searching for WeWork vs others.
Is it okay to say that: WeWork is building a brand, while others are focused on selling seats?
Isn’t this becoming a case of brand-focused vs. transactional marketing? As startups move up the funding chain, will they move to a branded office space like WeWork vs cost-effective offices?
What’s your take?
PS: The Google trend search is a representative trend. Brand searches != $$ in revenue, so please don’t correlate the two.
